Federal Security Services was founded by two executives with a combined 40 years Experience in the Security and Protection Industry.
Patrick Corcoran, President — Patrick Corcoran has been in the security industry for 20 years. During this time Mr. Corcoran has worked for international and regional companies. Starting out as a police officer, he then joined the Marine Corps and was part of the security forces which included anti-terrorist duties.
After the Gulf War, Mr. Corcoran returned to the security field in the private sector. He sold, started, ran, and provided quality assurance for a wide range of accounts in all different types of industries. Mr. Corcoran believes every account deserves to be treated in the same manner no matter what the size. He started Federal Security Services, Inc. with the intention of providing well-trained personnel and excellent customer service at a competitive price for all clients.
Garry L. Zeigler, Senior Vice President — Mr. Zeigler is responsible for the day to day operations of all contracts for Federal Security Services. His duties include contract implementation, hiring, training, safety, client relations and ongoing administrative support. In addition, he provides strategic input and business development support for the company.
Prior to joining FSSI, Mr. Zeigler served in a management capacity for 38 years. Twenty years in the security field for national security agencies. He was responsible for all aspects of operations involving clients such as Johnson & Johnson, DuPont, Air Products, Mack/Volvo Trucks and The Pennsylvania Convention Center. He directed significant transitions for Wyeth, Exxon/Mobil, Hospira Pharmaceuticals and Occidental Chemical. Mr. Zeigler has coordinated security for major labor disputes for BP Oil, Tosco Oil and Mack/Volvo Trucks
Mr. Zeigler’s offices consistently led his former organizations in many important metrics including customer satisfaction, as attested by customer surveys, revenue, safety, and employee retention. He had direct responsibility for multiple offices throughout the country. Mr. Zeigler is an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He has completed many management courses through the American Management Association and American Society for Industrial Security.
